College Student Giving away Nintendo Wii for the Holidays

Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) December 19, 2007 -- It seems that college student and entrepreneur Jonathan Holloway has been overtaken by the holiday spirit and has decided to give away his Nintendo Wii as a prize in an online poker tournament. The tournament is being held on December 22nd, which means the winner will have the Nintendo Wii just in time for the holidays. The tournament is free to play in. All you have to do is subscribe to his poker strategy website's RSS feed. (http://www.nichepoker.net/feed/rss/)

As a hobby Jonathan enjoys creating poker websites in order to earn a few bucks towards his college tuition. He has decided to kick start his latest website with a free poker tournament with the 1st prize being his Nintendo Wii. When asked why he chose to give away the Wii instead of money he replied, "I really don't play it very often, and I think a young kid would be much happier with it than I am. Besides, what better a way to kick off a new website than to offer up this holiday's hottest toy for free?"

Apparently Nintendo is not able to meet the holiday demand and has pulled some advertising in order to not make the situation worse. There are rumors circulating that Nintendo will be offering a rain check for customers who are unable to find a Wii. These customers can pay $250 at Gamestop and would supposedly receive their Wii by the end of January.

Obviously this will not cut it for most holiday shoppers who are buying Wii's on ebay for more than double the going rate. But do these holiday shoppers have what it takes to bring home the gift of the century...for free? We will have to wait and see. The tournament is being held at Full Tilt Poker (http://www.fulltiltpoker.com/?key=MDAwMDU5NjAwMDAxMDhEMjAwMDAwMDAwMDAwMDAwMDA-) on December 22nd. Full details for playing in the free tournament can be found at http://www.nichepoker.net/poker-news/free-nintendo-wii/
